South Central Texas Tour de Cure Ride

June 04, 2011 The American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure showcase a two day ride from San Antonio to Austin with an overnight in San Marcos. Riders secure funds in advance of the event and receive incentive prizes for their fundraising.

The Tour de Cure features routes of different lengths for riders of all skill levels. There’s something for everyone from a leisurely short distance to a more challenging length. Either way, Tour de Cure is a ride, not a race, so take it at your own speed and enjoy the journey. All Tour de Cure routes are safe and fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles (safety and gear), mechanical support, and rest stops stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled. At the each finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and more.

Join the Hill Country Bike Tour Club team today and help support the American Diabetes Association. Routes vary each day. Enjoy the beautiful hill country. The ADA will provide breakfast, lunch and a plated dinner on Saturday. The hotel will provide breakfast on Sunday morning. Discounted room rates are available at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos, TX. Use promo code “TDC” when making reservations and make sure that you mention you are a rider for the Tour de Cure. All hotel rooms are blocked for riders.
